Day 1 – Arrival to Tbilisi International Airport / overnight in Tbilisi hotel. next morning after breakfast start
Tbilisi and Mtskheta City tour
Tbilisi city tour will start from Metekhi church, during the tour you will be able to visit all main sightseeing of old part of Tbilisi, like a Narikhala fortress, Synagogue, Sioni cathedral, Peace Bridge, Rikhe Park, Basilica Anchiskhati, from the old town will continue trip to Rustaveli avenue, the main street in Tbilisi , where will visit National museum of Tbilisi.
After the museum trip you will drive to Mtskheta . Mtskheta is considered to be the center of Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. Visit to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Monastery of Cross.
After excursion drive back to Tbilisi for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Kazbegi Tour
Tour in kazbegi - drive through military road you will visit the residential ensemble of "Ananuri" (15th century). After that visit beautiful nature and ski resort Gudauri, this is an active resort during winter time. From there drive to Kazbegi. This is the highest town from sea level in Georgia, standing at 1600m high. It is situated between Caucasus Mountains (4000 - 5000m) and the top "glacier" (5033m). At the top of the town there is very beautiful church awaiting you - The Trinity of Gergeti.
Drive back Tbilisi, dinner in restaurant with traditional Georgian meals.
Overnight in Tbilisi hotel.
Day 3- Tour in Kakheti
Drive to Kakheti - the motherland of wine. Visiting Bodbe monastery (6th - 7th centuries) where St. Nino's cemetery lies, Visit Signaghi – called Love City where you can have a walking tour and enjoy with nice view to Alazani .
Drive to Tsinandali museum it is a manorial estate of Georgian noble house Chavchavadze and a popular place not only for wine lovers. Located in Kakheti region of Georgia, 168 kilometers away from Tbilisi.
From there drive to kvareli wine tunnel, where you will be able to discover Georgian local made wine and European wines, make a guided tour in wine tunnel and after degustation make a master classes of churchckhela making, brad baking and Mtsvadi making.
Dinner in same restaurant with your hand made meals added with traditional Georgian food.
Drive back to Tbilisi late evening for overnight
Day 4- Tbilisi – Gori – Uplistsikhe – Borjomi – Bakuriani
Drive form Tbilisi to Gori . Visit Stalin’s museum, which is located in city center.
Drive form there to Uplistsikhe - Uplistsikhe (II c B.C. - X c A.D.) is an ancient rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia, some 100 kilometers Western from Tbilisi. Uplistsikhe is identified by archaeologists as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. The cave complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage program since 2007.
Drive form there to Borjomi – visit well-known Borjomi park and taste mineral water. after walking tour in park drive to Bakuriani for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Bakuriani – Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia – Tbilisi
After breakfast in the morning drive to Vardzia cave city , on the way visit Akhaltsikhe and Rabath . tour in museum with guide. After that drive to Vardzia - This cave monastery was built during the “Golden Age” of feudal Georgia. Built between 1184 and 1186, it is a unique example of cave architecture. After tour inside the caves, drive back to Tbilisi
Farewell dinner in Tbilisi restaurant with folk show.
